Problem Submit Form with a Form where the choice in ITEMS are from an other list Sharepoint

Hi

I'm working on an application to follow some projets in my society.  In it I have a lot of form with choices. I want people to add choices to thoses form with times. So I made thoses choices Form take their choices in item from other list (that I can enhance if needed like I need).

I remember that last week everything work pretty well but today I can't have a single Update working. I try to revert the item part to the default (Choice[List].colomn) and it worked. So I guess it's my item formula that is the problem but I don't know how to make it work. Can someone help me ?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    How do you submit the form?

    Did you use the patch function or use the submitform function?

    If you use patch, could you share its formula?

    If you use submitform, could you share the update attribute's formula of the error datacard?

    Does Canvas report any formula error?

    What is the data type of the field that cannot be updated correctly? Choice?

    Best Regards,

    Hi, thanks for your answer.

    My update button use SubmitForm like this : Submitform(EditForm1)&Submitform(EditForm2)&Submitform(EditForm2)....&Submitform(EditForm21)

    By the way, I have some in [@] ([@EditFormX]) and some without, what is the difference ?

    When I use the monitor, it's only showing Success has result. I also have check and I don't have any formula error.

    The demanded type of data in item is Data, it's for a dropdown. The colomn in the sharepoint is in choice Type. Also (and I wonder if the problem is not here) the column where I found my Item is the Title Column in another sharepoint. So I guess it's text and not Record, Do you think that could be the problem ?

    If i'm not easy to understand I will try to make a vaccum version of the application to illustrate the problem.

    RenameColumns(LIST252.Title,"Title","Value")

    If this is not what you want, please provide a minimal reproducible case.

    Whooo That Awesome !!!!! Thanks you so much, you have no idea how long I was stuck on this problem. You're awesome. I never seen this formula on the web.

    I know you already give me plenty of time by I was wondering if you could explain me what is the difference in application between the two formules ?

    ListX.Title

    Renamecolumn(ListX.Title;"Title";"Value")

    Thanks again !

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    The format of the choice field in sharepoint list is an object with one column called Value, something like this:

    {Value:"myValue"}

    If the combo box's items is ListX.Title, when you choose one item in combo box , its selected is

    {Title:"myValue"}

    You can see they have different fomat/different column name.

    So I use Renamcolumn() function to rebuild the object.

    Best Regards,
