I would like to know how long the chatbot remains authenticated using SSO, and if it would be possible to extend this authentication time for the entire day, for example, without requiring re-authentication.
Please reach out to the person or team managing Entra ID for your organisation
Please, anyone can help me?
Sure, but I didn't understand how I can remove this need for a user to authenticate every 30 minutes. Can you tell me the step-by-step process? My chatbot is on my Azure portal as a web plugin, as shown on the page below.
Hi @jcs084
To extend token expiry, you can adjust token lifetimes in Azure Entra. This setting enables the configuration of token lifetimes issued by Microsoft Entra ID. However, note that this policy has been replaced by Authentication session management with Conditional Access. For further information, please refer to the following link:

How can I increase the token expiration time? It's currently only lasting 30 minutes.
Token expiry is controlled by your IDP, not by Copilot Studio. What's the reason behind this request?
Hi @jcs084 ,
Unfortunately, SSO does not support chatbot channels.
The following link details the channels that currently support SSO.
Configure single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID - Microsoft Copilot Studio | Microsoft Learn
