Access to Demo Tenant

Hello everybody,

can someone explain how to get access to a demo tenant in CDX as this option is gone now for weeks, and otherwise its hard to build a POC or study/train for an exam. I know of the developer program, but getting the Business Apps there is a bit cumbersome.

Demo--or Trial--tenants are going away. The preferred approach now is to use a Developer Environment which is in some ways more limited than the old Trial env, but has many very big advantages. For example, the environment is free forever: you don't need to keep renewing it and begging for more time. For another, you can spin up a lot more of these: one per licensed user.

Yes, the number of users that can access Dev tenants and the resourcing on them is a bit thin but all in all it is a much better solution than the old Trial environments.

Yes but in the developer tenant you do not get the full app experience, or am I wrong here?

What do you mean by "full app experience?" It has a lot of limitations, for sure. You can't install D365 apps (I'm pretty sure) but you do get both model driven apps and canvas apps, you can connect to it from Mobile, and do mostb everything you need to for customization learning and practice.

The question is: How can we show full fledged Field Service, CI and Sales Apps to customers with full access to the tenant to show advanced settings as well? How do we do POCs in the Future,.. only way I see is the typical 30 days trial that everyone gets, but his is pretty short, even shorter than the 90 days.
