Hi,

I have a sharpoint online list which have an email address column. I wanted to give rights to the user only based on their email id and they should not edit other items in the list which is assigned to other email id. Since the list is used by everyone in the company for power apps telecom report, i give everyone edit rights to sharepoint list. They have to map personal and company calls in the power apps report.

My list is filled from  an asp.net application(on premised app). I am stuck how to block anyone using the site address and edit the data from sharepoint online. They should edit their items using power apps. If this not possible, is it anyway i can manage list items based on the email id for their editing in sharepoint online browser.

I dont want anyone else to edit their items other than the items for their email id.

regards,

Shermin

I think the other way that I can suggest is by configure your SharePoint by using Global Administrator Account, sorry I only can give you the hardest solution here because I just learned Power Automate and Office Administrator for a week. Maybe you can wait for other with better solution.

    Hi,

I know that but in my case, there is no createdby column field since it was filled by asp.net web app. Instead i have an email column.

you can go to your sharepoint settings (wheel on the top right) and then go to site permission setting to do that, you can find what you want there
