Need help for entering a list of allowed values for control type: "AllowedValues" in an Edit Form

I have a gallery and edit form associated with an Excel datasource that is a table with some "Yes" / "No" columns. For each of such columns, as the values to be entered can be either "Yes" or "No" only, I am changing the control type to Allowed Values. However, I am unable to find a way to enter allowed values ("Yes", "No"). Need help on this.

    Hi,

Can't you use a control like a toggle or a dropdown with [ "Yes", "No" ] in items?

    Regards.

Are you saying that I should manually add dropdowns to the Edit Form to add to the controls automatically provided in the Edit Form (Controls are automatically provided corresponding to the datasource fields) and remove the existing corresponding to the Yes / No columns? If so, please elaborate.

    Hi,

I am not much of a forms user... how are those fields represented in the form? Are they toggles? Are they text?

If you want, maybe you can attach a sample of your excel and I can try it out on my side. As I said, I don't use forms that much but I can give it a go.

Thanks for the reply. I found the solution on YouTube. What needs to be done is to delete the existing control from within the concerned datacard and insert a new one (i.e. a dropdown) in its place. After that, references to the old control must be replaced with the name of the new one.

Glad to see you found the solution.
Maybe you could consider marking your answer as a 'Solution' so that it will be useful for others and close the case.

I am running into this issue as well but I'm having trouble understanding how to perform what you suggested. Do you still have the link to the youtube video? Thanks
