Chat bot jumps back to a previous question it was supposed to skip.
Hello, in this canvas I have a true/false condition and if false its supposed to ask a question that is not relevant if the answer is yes. I have the flow so that the true response skips the question. - This works fine in testing except that when following the "true" questions path, even tho it initially skips the question correctly...when you get to the very end of the convo it then jumps back to that question and asks it at the end 😞
any ideas how to stop that?

Did you make sure to end the conversation? I did a POC and it works fine as long as I end the conversation.
just tried it and still not working, i tried adding a redirect to another topic and it ignored that too and jumps back to the skiped question 😞
is it perhaps that its because its the "all other conditions" condition that does the skipping? perhaps if the defined "false" condition did the skipping it would be ok?
**Edit** - tried it, didnt help
hmmm - I have a flow connected that sends an email and the value taken from the question that is skipped is one of the things in the email - so is it possible that the flow/chat wont accept a null value for that question?
**edit** nope thats not it either - i totally removed the variable from the flow and it still does it 😞
Sorry, as I said I did a rough prototype and it works correctly for me. Do you have anything that loops back to the condition? Perhaps it is looping around and re-evaluating the condition after the variable is changed.
not really, its about as basic as it can be
after the condition its just a single chain of questions that just save the answers as variables and then puts tehm in an action that calls a flow.
What is above the condition? and do you have an end conversation at the end?

Hi @renatoromao !I have a similar problem. I have a topic which asks a question, record's the user input, calls an action and then ends the conservation. The first time everything works fine. But the next time I trigger the same topic it is not asking the question and calls the action directly with the first response I provided. How do I solve this?I googled a bit and some people have asked to check the "Skip question" option. But I don't see that option for my question. I only have the delete option.
Only for question of type "User's entire response" there is no "Skip question" option. All other question types have this option and my question doesn't fall under any of the types available (that's the reason I tired to use User's entire response in the first place). If I just randomly select a topic and while testing I gave a response the bot is throwing "sorry I can't understand, can you repeat again" message. How do I solve this?
