Context of my app first, I am collating data as an audit over 7 Software Packages.
Collecting a range of data catagorised as Licence, Cost, Department and User Roles, Contract Terms, Features. Each of these would have multiple elements within them. For example, under licence I may have, total licences, used, available.
I would like to be able to display it by selecting the product, then the category and viewing/editing the data. (This would be the most recent data) However I also need to be able to see an audit trail of data so the form would pull through the last entry and submit a new one.
I will also be adding a log in page with user rights where for example, I could see and edit all. Another user can only see/edit Software 1 & 3 and not the others.
So am I best off having one table with everything in or having a table for each category? Ideally I would like to use Gallery and forms HELP please, I'm a newbie
