I have created an app in Power Apps which I have then shared with various users and this is working correctly. When some one new starts, I get a request to share the app with the new user.
The super user in their department would like to have access to be able to Share the app without having to contact the IT department. The only way I can see to allow the Super User access to Share the app is to make them a Co-Owner. Making them a Co-Owner also gives them access to edit the app. The problem is we do not want the Super User to have access to edit the app, only share the app.
Is there anyway I can give the Super User access to the Sharing option without the edit option?
Thanks,
Hello @joe_hannes_col
Thank you for your reply. This looks like something I can get set up.
Thank you for your help
Hello @RicHague,
Not directly, but you could build a flow that you could trigger to share the app. In this thread, the app is shared with a Microsoft 365 group, and the flow adds members to the group. This automatically shares the app with the new member of the group.
You could trigger the flow directly, or you could launch it from a canvas app, for example (which might be a nicer user interface for your Super User :)).
