ViewForm after SubmitForm

Good day experts! I have a form set to NewForm and after the user filled out the fields, I would like the form to display the encoded details but in ViewForm only (Users must not be able to edit the form anymore once submitted)

Currently, I am getting "no item to display" after submit.

From NewForm:

Hi

You have several ways to implement it, within the same screen, by making a change of the new form or view or through a new screen using only the view.

The important thing is that you must pass the parameter to the referenced view form

You can use a variable in the save button

UpdateContext({ editView: true; selectedRecord: Form.LastSubmit })

and then use this formula in the DefaultMode
If(newMode; FormMode.New; editMode; FormMode.Edit; FormMode.View)

and Item the form
selectedRecord

On same screen if you want to re appear the last submitted form you could also try to do the following:

on Form settings set

On Success: Set(SubmittedItem, FormName.LastSubmit);

ViewForm(FormName)

Then set the item property of the form to SubmittedItem

The default Mode of the form will be set as NewForm.

Check this and tell me if everything is ok with item property. Logically when u open the form the default value will be displayed.
