Tab Index on Components in Power Apps

Hi All,

I have a built a custom component that contains a simple textbox with some quite complex validation checking built into it. The component which was built in the UI (Not a PCF component) is not aligning with the tab indexing app side. I have added a tab index into the Component but this is simply not being picked up.

The component is within a Horizontal container but I don't think this is the issue.

Did you make sure that "Enable Child Control Focus" is enabled on the container? Tab Indexing will not work on controls inside the container if that isn't enabled and its disabled by default. Not sure if its been removed from Components, but it won't work in a regular app unless that is enabled. I would assume a component is the same.

Hi Thank you for replying,

Yes the enable child focus is set for all containers and its still not picking up the Component in the Tab Indexing.

It seems to tab through all of the Out of the Box controls in the Container and then skips the two components I have added.
