AI Builder - Business Card Reader - Scanned Image quality

Hi, I'm currently building a business card reader app using the AI Builder - Business Card Reader.

However, when it scans, displays, and stores the image into my Dataverse, the image quality is horrible — like something from a 2002 camera phone.

I’ve read that I can instead capture the image as binary encoded in Base64, but I don't know how to achieve this technically.

Any ideas?

Regards,

Felix

    Updated answer:

    1. A very tiny thumbnail is shown in the BusinessCardComponent.OriginalImage.

    2. The original uncompressed image is stored in Dataverse.

    3. Use a Image component to display the uncompressed image with original quality in its properties.

    4.
