When i am trying to make a relation between my form1 ID to form2 Id1 column in power app it shows an error.

Hi All,

 

I'm trying to make an app where i'm trying to make a relation between form1 ID with form2 Id1 column in which Id1 retrieves data from ID by itself.

Here is a screen shot of an error

And if i remove .Mode then it show this error

if anyone know the solution please help me. I have been trying so hard for long time to make this app but this error is not solving. So please help me regards this error.

    @Hritikpatel317 - I do not understand what you're ultimately trying to do, but an Edit Form control has a Mode property, not a data source.

     

    If('Your Form Name'.Mode = FormMode.New, varRecord.ID, ThisItem.Id1)

    Hi @Amik ,

    Thank you so much for your answer but this is not working and it's still not picking the value of form1 ID and filled it into form2 Id1 by itself. If you have any other solution please tell me.

    @Hritikpatel317 - the link you shared is a 22 minute video. I have no idea how you have set up your app and/or whether you have followed the instructions in that video correctly.

     

    I can only give you support based on the information you provide for your app. So far, all you have told me is that there is an error with your formula, so I can only repeat the same advice - an Edit Form control has a Mode property, not a data source.
