Hello Community,
first of all, i know that's probably not the right place for this question, but i dont really know where else i could post this. I hope to get some help anyway 🙂.
I have an Power App that is using SharePoint as an database. With time, this database grew much bigger, too big for SharePoint. As long as we don't have set up the new database, we have to take a workaround to process the filter querys of the Power App.
To get this working, i used a little trick by Raza Dorrani. Creating an custom column and put an default value on it, so every new uploaded Document gets this default value and the i filter by that default value to avoid delegation issues. This worked perfectly until i realized, that this default value is getting deleted for a specific file, if this file is updated. SharePoint sets the value only for new uploaded documents but not for documents, that are moved from folder to folder or documents that are updated. That woul not be a problem, if the default value wasnt deleted.
Does anyone know about how to solve this problem?
Thanks for your time and your help 🙂
