Checkbox default value based on combobox value

Hi,

I have two fields in powerapps form.

1. type - dropdown

2.mode - checkboxes - mandatory field

I'm stuck here. as an example if in the dropdown(type) select Type A then in the second field(mode) which is consist of multiple checkboxes, Need to check the checkbox which is Sub Z.

Is there any suggestion, really appreciate.

Hi @sachk1 ,
Have you used a gallery control to display multiple checkboxes. If yes, can you share Items property of the gallery where checkboxes are placed.

Hi @NandiniBhagya20 ,

In the checkboxes field I used dropdown and hide the dropdown. Added the checkboxes and collection method used to save checkbox values.

Hi @sachk1 ,
Try using below formula in Default property of checkbox -

ThisItem.Value in colCheck || (ThisItem.Value = "Sub Z" && Dropdown3.Selected.Value = "Type A")

colCheck is the collection name.
You can replace the first part in the formula (before ||) with formula that is currently added in Default property.

I added the above formula to checkbox group default property. Attached the snip here.
But its shows errors. can you look what is mistake done there. the code also displays on the snip.
