Power Automate flow not triggering when button is clicked in power app

Hi Team,

I have been facing an issue with a Power app connected to SP list wherein upon clicking Submit on the New form the Power Automate flow attached with the button doesn't get triggered. The flow was been triggered since yesterday but has stopped working now. We have tried to make a copy of the flow and attached to the button also deleted and readded the button also re attached the flow to the button but nothing has worked unfortunately. Attached screenshots for your reference.

Any ideas why this stopped working suddenly ?

    Hi @Prathameshpatka ,

Sorry, I don't understand. Since you have a Form in Power App, why you are passing 7 values to flow and use them in Create item action? You can simply use the Edit form in New mode and onSelect of the Submit button apply SubmitForm function to create a new item in the list.

    Best regards,

    Hi @v-jefferni ,

I need to see what values are been passed to the flow so I have set this way. This was working few days back but has suddenly stopped working. I did try to reattach the flow to button also deleted the button/code and readded but nothing has worked.

I believe the Power Apps V1 trigger has been deprecated and functionality was just shut off a few days ago. If you remove the trigger action and replace it with the PowerApps V2 trigger, you should notice it start working again.

Do you have a link to the MS article where it mentions that it has been deprecated. As I do not any information as such at our end. This is too weird from Microsoft.

I do not at this moment. However, I do know that if you attempt to select a new trigger the only one that appears for Power Apps at this time is the PowerApps (V2) trigger...

I will see if I can find where I saw the information about V1 not working any longer, and post it back here.

    Thanks for the screenshot

I have a Power app V1 trigger setup somewhere else on another flow which was created yesterday and that still works so I still feel something else is a culprit not the trigger ?

    Hi,

I am currently having the same issue and I am using the PowerApps (V2) trigger.

It is weird because every bit of code before and after the .Run() method works fine till the last line. But the flow won't get triggered.

This used to work 100% for like a couple of months but 2 weeks ago it just decided to stop working.

Have you found any solution yet?

I have now managed to fix by replacing the initial trigger by the Power apps V2 trigger. Please check in the flow if you have setup all the variables for each fields in the form and with correct type . If you have missed creating any variables or have setup incorrect type against a variable that might not tigger the flow.

I think it was just a glitch with the flow.

I've made a copy of the flow and used that one in power apps and it started working.
