Can't change "Authoring version" if "Coauthoring" option is enabled

As described in title, I can't change "Authoring version" ("Edit" button grayed out) if "Coauthoring" option is enabled.
 
 
Is it intended behavior or bug?
 
Turning off "Coauthoring" will enable the "Edit" button back.

    If you look at the feature description in your screenshot: "Some editing features may be limited while this feature is on"
    It makes sense that you can't change authoring version as any co-author needs to be able to use the exact same version as you in order for coauth to work so you wouldn't be able to change that until coauth is off.
