Hey all,
I want to create one task for a team / group of people at once. Ideally it would be so that they can filter the view "My tasks" and see the created tasks.
Would it be possible to create a new custom tab in the entity with buttons, where I create tasks for specific users on button click?
Imagine a button for example "invite to interview" -> on click, the user generates a task for the selected record, for users x, y and z who are able to see the task in the "My tasks" view in the model driven app. I would do that for buttons like "create warning letter" and so on.
How would I do such a thing, is there any tutorial or can anyone lead me into the right direction?
If thats not possible or way too complicated I know that there are OOTB solutions and I tried it myself. But there were some restrictions I didn't like.
Right now, when I'm in a custom entity and create a task in the timeline I myself get auto selected as the owner. This is the first point that should change - the owner field should be empty when creating a new task. Is that possible in any way?
After that I want the user to be able to select a group of people, for example "Team Recruiting" and create a task for the selected record in the custom entity. I did that with a team, but wasn't able to create a task for an azure aad team, which was a no-go for me as I don't want to manually add team members in the security settings of dataverse.
Many thanks in advance.
