How to filter the N-N lookup panel

I have a recruitment form for studies.  These studies have their own inclusion and exclusion criteria.  Study recruitments are for prospects and at the recruitment level, the selected criteria will vary.  So Studies have a 1:N relationship to Study Criteria and a 1:N relationship to Recruitment. Recruitment then has a N:N relationship to Study Criteria.  I don't necessarily love the subgrid experience for this, but I guess it's a start.  Anyway, when I have users select to add existing Study Criteria, by default it displays all of the criteria across all studies, but what I want is for the list of available criteria to filter by the study that is tied to the current recruitment form. In the gif below, I'm referring to the right-hand panel and the list of criteria that are showing up. Can I do this with client script?  I'm also all ears if someone wants to point me to a better PCF component that isn't a nightmare to learn how to setup.

    Hi @mhomol

In the past I struggled with this situation and unfortunately there is no way to make a prefilter.

The option that I could implement was that after adding it to the table, if it does not meet a filter condition, I delete it.

If you manage to do it in the pre filter, share the solution

Thank you for the link.  I'm reviewing the code now and trying to get it swapped for my entities.  In your code, is the entityLogicalName the name of the virtual table or the subgrid source table?

Sorry to bother again, but I can't seem to figure out how to get to the Customize Command option.  It looks like I need to be in classic, but then is this from the form that has the subgrid?
