Power App slow loading for single user

Hi,

 

One of our apps is loading extremely slowly for one of our users - SQL/MySQL connections in particular look to be running extremely slowly. It does not appear to be an internet connectivity issue as other apps and other services run ok. We have tried re-sharing the app and explicitly sharing the app connections but no luck. 

 

The slowdown appears to have been proceeded by an unsolicited Microsoft authentication code (either from someone trying to access the user's account or triggered by the integrated GlobalProtect VPN service), but not sure if this is a symptom, cause, or just coincidental.

 

The user is also experiencing slow/poor connection on Microsoft Teams (calls not connecting, messages sending slowly etc) so maybe this is a general Microsoft/account issue rather than specific to Power Apps, especially since other users seem to be completely fine.

 

If anyone has experienced anything like this before or has any information, it would be very appreciated!

    I would say that the VPN setup would be one of the first things to investigate. Perhaps it's tunnelling through an endpoint that doesn't match the geographic location of your environment, and that could explain some of the slowness when connecting to Microsoft services. Alternatively, it could be related to other network/configuration settings, such as the ones mentioned here:

    Thanks, it's possible although other users on the same VPN are not having issues. The user is WFH at the moment so possible they are being routed differently compared to other users in our environment. It's been difficult to diagnose let alone fix network or VPN settings with our IT/Azure admin on leave today so just trying to gather as much information as possible!
