Our organization is new to power virtual agents and currently we use bot based on .net framework hosted on azure. We are looking to switch to power virtual agent, but we wonder what more it has than azure bot framework.
What it offers more than the .net bot framework that worth its 1000$ price? In terms of functionality or in terms of usability.
The product is expensive BUT then it is kind of justified also.
PVA is so easy to learn and implement. That too not by the experts but by the novice users.
For example:
Suppose a bot created by experts takes 100 hrs.
With PVA, it would be like 80% time by non-expert + maybe 20% time by the experts (for complex scenarios).
This clearly brings a big cost saving.
Other than that, PVA is easy to understand & train, robust & compatible with most of the systems like SharePoint, OneDrive etc.
The current pricing model kills any kind of small project on any company or any kind of project in a small company. I regretted even learning to work with PVA when I had to look out the price. The product is too expensive.
Your argument makes very little sense. Other AI platforms like Watson are cheaper yet they over the same ease. The product is too expensive.
You need to think about implementation time = costs as well as licensing. The no code interface makes that implementation time and cost (including ongoing iteration and improvement) substantially less than building a bot with code.
Hi Vignesh,
I would prefer if the PVA pricing was more competitive however I do appreciate why it is priced this high.
PVA empowers anybody to create a chatbot without needing any technical skills. A business user who is a subject matter expert can easily create a bot. The same cannot be said for the Azure bot framework
