Hi all,

I created one people column with only specific users in the selection on my SharePoint list. But I am not able to make it as a drop down menu.

Is there anyway to use drop-down menu as display choices for people column from PowerApps or SharePoint?

Thankss

    Hi @Anonymous,

Do you want to filter some users out from your people column?

Could you please tell me that how you define these specific users?

Actually, we could Combine Filter() function with Office365User.SearchUser() function to display some certain users in Combo Box.

    Hi,

I created a new SharePoint group and change it in the list setting.

Can the function work in sharepoint customized powerapps form?

Actually I already can restrict specific users in the selection list but i cant click on drop down like the one below

I require the person column to function similarly to the test1 column.

    Hi @Anonymous,

You could define a special sharepoint group to contain some certain users as below, you could select which group would be allowed to select users from.

In this way, we don't need any function, we just need to define a sharepoint group and select this special group for the people picker.

    Hi @Anonymous

    Okay, that's a new direction.

Do you want to list all the group members of one specific group?

If so, you need to use Office365Groups.ListGroupMembers function.

Firstly, you need to connect with office365 groups connector.

Secondly, set your drop down's Items:

    Office365Groups.ListGroupMembers("group object id").value

Do not forget the ".value" part, or else you will get error.

What's more, you could find a group's object id in azure admin center:

    Hi,

Yeah I did the same thing but filtering was not my issue. My current issue was not unable to expand the option in the form

There is nothing come out after i clicked on the expand icon. The test1 column screenshot is only the reference that I wanna achieve for my person column in the form.
