Hi, just wondering if it is possible to search data within Power Apps using my mobile phones microphone rather than typing in text in the search bar?
I think this would be awesome if its possible!!
Hi @TracyV :
Do you want to conduct a text search through the microphone?
Firstly, It is possible but need to use other services at the same time.
The key is the need for speech-to-text technology but powerapp itself does not have this ability.
I think this link will help you a lot:

Secondly,I suggest you use the phonetic keyboard's own speech-to-text conversion function.
Select the textbox, the native phone (iOS for me) keyboard opens. Select the microphone on the keyboard and begin speaking. When you click the icon for ending the microphone the speach is transcribed into the textbox.
This scheme has three advantages:
1. Improve the robustness of the app. Speech recognition cannot guarantee 100% accuracy.
2. Easy to accomplish. The operation is very simple.
3. No need to pay for other services.
In addition, If you think PowerApps needs to add this feature, please try to submit this idea in the PowerApps Ideas forum.
