Dataverse table has multiple unique records

Greetings,

I have a Dataverse table that is producing multiple records for each unique record. This is happening due to a system generated column called versionnumber. The multiple records are showing up in my canvas app. Any one struck this before and know how to fix? Many thanks.

Hello @scottmcqueen,

Please enable Duplicate Detection Rules for this Table, so that when an User Tries to create a same record it will throw an popup for the same.

For Enabling Duplicate Detection Rules

1. Navigate to https://make.powerapps.com
2. Click on Gear icon at the top
3. Click Advance Settings
4. Click Data Management then Duplicate Detection Rules
5. Enter the Rules over there

Thanks @rampprakash
I found that my duplicates are being created each time my Dataflow refreshes. I want the data to be updated by the refresh process, so I'm not sure how the duplicate detection will handle that?

Hello @scottmcqueen,

If that is the case, we cannot handle this in Duplicate detection, we need to write some custom code via plugins to avoid the same.
