I am genuinely curious how power platform developers here estimate their projects.
especially if the project contains a feature that is completely new to you.

do you mean the time to develop the app completly?
to be honest i just give a rough estimation and add a little bit more just to be safe.
i think every app has some similarities and if you have done a few things inside the platform already you have a bit of exp how long things can take.
for complete new things i already take the research time into the estimation (but with great ressources like here and other things you can use) complete new things can be done "quickly"
