Hi

Fore some time I been embedding and publishing some Power Bi reports into a Wordpress webpage with no mayor issues and acceptance from some clients.

I think I´m definitely missing something about the Powerapps Portal functions, I have not been able to understand what are the benefits or advantages for using Powerapps Portals + Power Bi Vs wordpress + Power bi to embed and publish reports.

I understand that in both cases I need to have Power Bi embedded account, I understand that the price has no difference if I embed in wordpress or Powerapps....

Any ideas or help will be more than appreciate!!!

Re: Power Bi + WordPress Vs Power Bi + Powerapps Portals

    Hi @Holguinmora1 ,

Power BI + Powerapps Portals would have higher flexibility than Power Bi + WordPress. Both Power BI + Powerapps Portals and Power Bi + WordPress are configured easily.

If you want to stop rendering any existing tiles or dashboards for your end users, within Power BI + Powerapps Portals, an administrator can disable embedding of Power BI tiles and dashboards at any time to stop use of the Dynamics 365 authorization token for authenticating with Power BI service.

    Privacy Notice

In addition, Power BI + Powerapps Portals would be better than Power Bi + WordPress in securing Business data.

More details about integrating Power BI and PowerApps Portals, please check the following article:

    Best regards,

    Hi,
As Power BI works with both the websites, Configuring Power BI in the power Apps portal is easier than WordPress. Its totally depend on your requirement and license you want to use in Power Apps Portal and in the WordPress.

    Thanks

Re: Power Bi + WordPress Vs Power Bi + Powerapps Portals

Power Apps Portal has first party support for PowerBI Embedded services, it means user can integrate PowerBI report and dashboard in portal with minimum code and few configuration changes. And portal will take care of heavy lifting code for adding the PowerBI to portal pages and securely managing authentication tokens. As it’s a first party support, so you don’t have to worry about future supportability and upgrade scenarios.

Can you please tell me more about how are you integrating PowerBI embedded reports in WordPress? Are you using any plugin, or it is done via custom code?
