Possible bug in latest Powerapps app update (for Android)?

We are running a Powerapps Canvas app which uses a camera control on one of the screens so the users can take photos while using the app. Below the camera control we placed a dropdown control which enables the user to select the device's cameras from a list.

The app was continuously tested on an older iPhone 5S (iOS 12.5.6 --> one front- and one rear-facing camera) as well as on two additional Android devices; Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact (Android 10 --> one front- and one rear-facing camera) and a Samsung Galaxy A53 5G (Android 12 --> two front- and two rear-facing cameras).

We tested the app and that particular feature probably a hundred times over the course of the past few months and have never had any issues on any of the devices used (other than when leaving the screen with the camera control in order to navigate to the next screen and if we'd hereafter go back to the previous screen again in order to take a new photo while overwriting the old photo in cache - in that case the dropdown wouldn't be able to "pick up" the same camera/ID we used when taking the first photo and thus, force the user to select another camera from the list to take the next photo or to cycle select between the cameras on the list to get the initial camera working again - we assume that this is a minor bug and learned to live with it so far).

However, we noticed a strange behavior which seems to be a serious flaw (or maybe a new bug?) and which concerns the functionality of the camera control. This only happens on the aforementioned Android devices but not on the older iPhone, which we used for testing. The odd behavior, when using Android devices, consists of the - previously - well functioning camera control not "refreshing" or constantly displaying updated frames when moving the device and thus, the camera around. Instead, we noticed that we now have to press a finger continuously on the screen of the device before the camera control starts working as intended and for as long as we keep doing that, are able to refresh the camera control display constantly. But as soon as we remove the finger from the screen, the camera control stops refreshing after a short delay of about a second and one has to repeat this process in order to make the camera control refresh and work again. As mentioned before, this doesn't happen on the older iPhone although the processor is a bit older and slower and refreshes the camera control a bit more "sluggish".

This issue first started last week on Wednesday (10/19/2022) after a new update for the MS Powerapps app for Android was pushed out. There were two more updates for said app the following day (don't pin me on this one as it might have been one or two days later) but the problem with the camera control persists.

Did anybody else have this type of issue after the above-mentioned date (or maybe even before) and update cycle? Can anyone throw some light on why this odd type of behavior with the camera control would suddenly appear out of nowhere when it previously always worked fine (and still does so on the iPhone)?

We were initially considering to file an official bug report but found this page which refers to this very forum for reporting these kind of issues...

https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/powerapps-support-overview/

Is there any other way of reporting bugs/issues or does one simply always report those in an ordinary post in this forum?

Thanks in advance for any feedback and help.

Just to add a very important piece of information to the above which we posted yesterday as a bug report...

When running our Powerapps app in the browser, the behavior of the camera control is completely normal as it is on the iPhone, we use. So the issue with the camera only refreshing when touching the screen, seems to be related only to the MS Powerapps application on the Android OS.

Is there anybody here who can shed light on this, please?

Experiencing the exact same issue on both android tablets and on my S21 Ultra phone.

Had to revert to a earlier version of the app for the customer to fix the camera functionality.
