I thought I had posted this previously, but it appears it never submitted. I have built a small application that collects Lat/Lon information upon taking an image with a cell phone camera. I noticed that the accuracy of the collected locations vary greatly. I can get locations that are off by 5 feet or 100 feet, which isn't really the type of accuracy I would like to see. My question would be is there any way to resolve this issue or is this just an issue with cell phone accuracy?
Hello @DavidKlochko,
Well yes you are right, it depends on the Device accuracy. The location feature is implemented under the iOS and Android APIs so the information flows through there. The accuracy will vary depending on the sinal strength, if you are using the GPS + Wifi or just one of them and so on.
Hope this helps 🙂

Is there any way to get the horizontal accuracy, ideally as a radius, so it can be displayed on a map with the location? It would be really useful for our application to know when the user has got an accurate fix, and when it is just a guess.
Unfortunately, Power Apps does read any sort of accuracy data from the device's sensor, so at best you're stuck doing some sort of RMS calculation after you receive several positions.
