Hi All, I am not able to save a dropdown in my SharePoint form. I customize my form in PowerApps. I had to delete my Initials of QA control (in list settings) as I needed to change the control from single text to choice type. The control would not convert for some reason. I created the control again as choice. I then went into PowerApps to add the datacard and customize. For some reason, the dropdown will not save. I compared to my other dropdowns in PowerApps created the same way as controls in list settings. This new one looks the same but will not save. Can you all help? I appreciate your help!
Hi @KD_7 ,
May I ask what Items of Dropdown?
Please try this in the Items of DropDown(DataCardValue20):
Choices([@DataSource].ColumnName)
Hope this will help you,
Best Regards,Tina
Hi Tina,
thank you for the reply. The items is already entered as you said. Any other ideas?
@v-hanytian-msft Forgot to tag you. See reply. Any other ideas? I’m kind of at a loss. Never had this problem before.
@v-hanytian-msft another observation to share- when I try to create a new form, fill out completely and press Save it just sits. I do not get an error but it will not save. When I edit an existing entry, update the drop-down and press save, the drop down deselects, and I get an error that the field is required. I also noticed all previous entries created have flags in SP showing missing metadata. So I have to select that drop down for all previous entries now I guess? I appreciate your help!
@v-hanytian-msft @ can you or anyone else offer any other help? This issue is still unresolved.
