Governance in power apps

Hey guys,

I have a governance problem, I need users to not be able to create apps and not be able to create environments in power apps.

Only users with "developer" privileges can create applications and environments in power apps, other users can only access applications.

Is there such a possibility?

Thanks!

    Re: Governance in power apps

I would like to ask a question, today in our standard environment, when the user creates an application, all the SharePoint bases for it appear.
The problem is that Sharepoint bases are appearing that shouldn't be, but I can't remove his access to these bases because they are bases used in production applications

Is there any possibility of limiting it so that when creating an application, when selecting the SharePoint database, those databases that are in production do not appear, for example.

    An example:

I have several lists in BASE 1 that are in production

When he starts a Canva application and selects the sharepoint base he can see and select BASE 1, and in this case he would like this not to be possible

    @CaioVianaDEV

In addition what was said by @AlbertoCastro you need to establish governance.

Read more here on how you can approach environments strategy.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/guidance/adoption/environment-strategy

If you got too many users and applications then you might be better considering routing, groups and rules as well.

This will redirect new makers to their own developer environments. It is still in preview though.

    Re: Governance in power apps

    Hi,
the easy answer, if you want to limit the creation of new environments you have to access to https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/tenantsettings with an user with at least "Power Platform Admin" Azure role and there you will can control who can create new environments:
    - Developer environments assignments
    - Trial environments assignments
    - Production environments assignments
    For example:

The second part, when an user has a office 365 license can to create a power app, at least in Default environment. You can't disable this situation.

Here is very import establish a governance plan, monitor the use of Default environment...
