Hi,
In an screen of canvas app, I am adding a Form, based on SharePoint List, and there is one column "Person type" in that list.
I want who ever user logged in, his/her name should come as default in the form, they can change it if they want to enter the details of someone else in his/her team. but current logged in user must come as default in Form. Can it be achieved?
I did try to add few formula in Default value:
1. Office365Users.UserProfile(User().Email).DisplayName
2. User().FullName

But nothing seems working. Any help

    Put this in the default selected item property of the combobox

    {
    '@odata.type':"#Microsoft.Azure.Connectors.SharePoint.SPListExpandedUser",
    Claims: "i:0#.f|membership|"&User().Email,
    Department: "",
    DisplayName: User().FullName,
    Email: User().Email,
    JobTitle: "",
    Picture: ""
    }

    Hi @zmansuri

    Is there any way we can populate the manager's name also, of that logged-in user by default?

    @zmansuri hi. You reply solved my half problem

    But i have a functionality that after submitting the form. A person(approver) comes and edit that from and fill a combobox as approved.and submit.

    But the default name in the person tab getting changed to approver name.

    How to restrict it that it shouldn't change after submitting once

    I'm able to populate the current logged user on a new entry.  When I go and try to edit the entry and save it, it saves back to the current logged in user and not saving my change.  What if statement do I need to enter for the default value on the Name data card?
