I am connecting to a SharePoint list. When I look at the table from the list I see [Record] instead of the item value. I can't find any information on why this is occurring. I even tried to do a collection and I get the same result.
A record can contain one or more attributes and this is typical for complex data types. For example, in your scenario, the "Approved By" and "Author" fields are People data types. This data type contains the following attributes in the record:
