Dear Power Apps Community,

We’re running into an issue scanning QR codes on iOS using the Barcode Reader control in a Canvas App.

When we scan the same QR code using the native iOS Camera app, it works immediately.
In our Power Apps Canvas app, the Barcode Reader control does not detect the code.
We’ve already tried adjusting scan modes and image quality, but behavior stays the same.
We´ve already tried different smartphones

What seems to matter is the QR code’s background / quiet zone:

A QR code without a white border (quiet zone) is not recognized by the Power Apps control.
As soon as we add a white border around the QR code, the scan works reliably.
Since the iOS Camera can scan the QR code even without the border, this looks like a limitation/issue with the Power Apps Barcode Reader control rather than the QR code itself.

Has anyone seen this before, know if it’s a known issue, or have any recommended workarounds/settings to improve detection in the Power Apps control on iOS?
