I am having an issue splitting my collection of Brands. I have tried Split(BrandDropCollect.Result,",") along with other variations but I am not able to get the function to work. I was testing using a data table to see if I could get anything to work. Any advice on how to split a collection or just a SharePoint list column? I feel like I am missing something very trivial.

Here is what my collection looks like at the moment..

    Hello @Laureverett,

I think you are missing something quite basic.  Your list shows a classical database design flaw, one that MS Access uses as an example.  You have combined products with suppliers in one table.  Your list should probably be split into at least two lists, with a one to many relationship between them.  Please see the photos below for an explanation.  In Sharepoint, you can use the ID of one table as the connection (Lookup) to the second table by including it as a Foreign key.  Capture.PNGCapture2.PNGCapture.3.pNGFor more information about database design, please see https://support.office.com/en-us/article/database-design-basics-eb2159cf-1e30-401a-8084-bd4f9c9ca1f5

While it is written for MS Access, the principles it describes are universal and will help you design your Powerapps.
