Preview Program with input box clear

hi all.

i am new to powerapp. I have 2 input box in my screen 1. May i know why the input box still showing previously entered value whenever i preview my apps? I thought it suppose to clear the entire content when i preview my apps?

For instance, my apps shown below. I entered 'test' in the name field as shown in the previous preview. But when i exit the preview mode and try to preview again, the 'test' remained in the input box. Is this suppose to be in this way? or the powerapps should clear all the field each time i preview it?

@cheehang - This is how it works. The designer retains whatever you enter on a per-session basis.

Hi @cheehang - this is default behavior. This is just preview of what you have put there in input box.
If you need to perform certain action on Input text than you can do it accordingly using respective functionality in app.

ok. if that's the case. Does it work the same way when you deploy the program to 'live'? Does these textbox still carry the value? or we need to intentionally clear the input box?

Use the Reset() function to erase the contents of your input fields. As in:

Reset(input_Field);
