Updating Solution does not show changes to App?

So I have an app where I work on bugs and improvements in the Developer environment and when I'm ready I push it to the Production environment. However, after making changes in the Developer environment I export that solution, then go to the Production environment and import that solution, but when I go to use the app the changes I made are not there? Why is this?

    The time it takes for changes to propegate to the live version of the app seems to change or be random. I have users that get the "click here to update" banner like 2 min after I push an update and other times it takes 15 min for some reason. I would try to close the app on your phone/pc and then reload it. You wont always get an update banner popup but if the app is open when updates are pushed then you usually do.
