Populating Inputs in Actions

Hi all, I'm struggling with the set up of the first autonomous agent. I've walked through the student assets to create the sharepoint site (and utilized some of this information to create the agent along with the videos). When watching the videos, I also added another list for 'Hardware Requests' with the columns mentioned (this list with the same columns wasn't in the setup document). Also the wording of some areas is slightly different, but it seems the settings are similar? (Actions vs Tools).

I've got to the point of setting up the Tool/Action, and specifying inputs. The video and documents mentions selecting "title" after selecting add input. But I am wondering if I am just supposed to manually be adding the names of my columns?

If I select "Identify as" nothing populates. Also if I select "add input" the only option I see there is "limit columns by view".

if anyone has any guidance on this stage of the set up, I would be ever so grateful! Thanks!

I would also be interested to see if anyone has been able to use the SharePoint Create Item Action/Tool and gotten that to work :-)

I've tried various technics to create an item via this action but no luck.

I ended up calling a Power Automate flow instead and use the SharePoint - Create Item action there. I did create inputs for all my columns in the flow.

I was able to get this going I think! Took a little of trial and error. I recreated the create hardware request connector. Added the name, description, selected additional details and selected copilot author authentication.

    For inputs
added site ID and selected the list name. This is where things get interesting...
when I select "Add input", the only option I saw was "limit columns by view" I selected this, then fill using custom value, then in the value drop down select this and select refresh - then click it again and select "use all columns (do not limit)"
After adding this, I went back to "Add input" and could see all of my column names there. I followed the doc with adding the name and description of each input I needed. I also wanted to see what was happening so I added "Write the response with generative AI" in the completion after running section. I then tested by either saying I needed a new device or that I had a new hire. It did create my hardware requests in the sharepoint list from this. BUT, it doesnt seem to be listening to my instructions to create unique asset IDs. The instructions are Create a 6 digit asset tag starting with the letters ASSET-. I changed this to Create a unique 6 digit asset tag starting with the letters ASSET-
The asset tag should not be repeated in the asset list. however it only made them unique if I asked for two devices in the same session/test. Perhaps this isn't part of it and needs a separate step in order to "check" the asset tag list, to make sure a unique value is being generated?
