Hi everyone.

I have a question. I am new to PowerApps but I do have some experience in excel and VBA. I am looking to create a PowerApp to replace an excel dashboard that I currently use.

One of the features in my dashboard is a macro that will navigate to a specific webpage and fill out a web form using data contained within a table in my dashboard.

Is it possible to create something like this in PowerApps? Are there any apps available for integration with Microsoft Teams that would allow me to allow me to complete this crucial function? Any advice and suggestions are welcome!

Unfortunately, I don't think there's anyway that we can do this with PowerApps.

With Excel VBA, it's possible to automate IE. This isn't possible with PowerApps.

Also, we cannot define custom JavaScript with a Canvas app. Therefore, the other avenue that might work for us is unavailable.

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I afraid that PowerApps could not achieve your needs. The VBA feature is not supported in PowerApps, and you could define any script code within a canvas app.

Almost of built-in functions supported in PowerApps only work between PowerApps canvas app, it could not be integrated with other third-party products.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

But if you want to design a app to manipulate data (Add, Edit, Remove, Search) in your Excel table, I think PowerApps canvas app could achieve your needs.

You could generate a canvas app based on your Excel table, and these end users could manipulate data in your Excel table through this canvas app directly. More details about generating app based on Excel table, please check the following article:
