Re-Using an Action

Hi all,

I have created a bot with various topics, most of which go through a similar process so COULD use the same flows but with adjusted references etc.

I am finding that I am having to create new flows everytime rather than being able to copy / adjust an existing flow and using a 'save as' function to make sure that I don't break the original topic using the flow that I am trying to adjust.

Is there anyway to re-use a flow with a bot, but adjust the flow to suit? I feel like I am wasting alot of time manually re-creating flows over and over again!

Thanks

    Hey @Gwill1983,

So, the short answer is sadly no. When it comes to Cloud Flows in Solutions, there doesn't seem to be any easy way to do this.

Long answer, sorta? Upon doing some research, I was able to find this post which addresses a similar issue, but it's a very convoluted solution and honestly may very well take longer than simply recreating your Flow in Power Automate manually.

Although this is not a supported use case at this time, you are welcome to create an Idea for it! Ideas are community-provided suggestions to the Power Virtual Agents team, and are a great way for users to show the sorts of features they'd want to use in the future! Hope this helps!
