Hello All,

I am making one canvas App where i am fetching data from Share Point List , All fields will show their respected values as per the selection of one field which is 'Time-sheet Activity ID',

i am tryin to populate value on Description field on behalf of activity id selection , As i am writing below formula on description data card default property

Filter([@'BG Project Time-Sheet App'],'Time-sheet Activity ID'=ComboBox1.Selected.'Time-sheet Activity ID').Description

but this formula gives this error

why there is such error , i believe this will come in all the fields. please advise for this

FIlter returns a table. You might want to use the LookUp function or First(Filter, these will return a record. Your error should go away then. Let me know if it doesn't.

If you are expecting only one value with the conditions you plassed in the below formula, then you should use LookUp()

Filter([@'BG Project Time-Sheet App'],'Time-sheet Activity ID'=ComboBox1.Selected.'Time-sheet Activity ID').Description

Try the following by replacing Filter with LookUp:

LookUp([@'BG Project Time-Sheet App'],'Time-sheet Activity ID'=ComboBox1.Selected.'Time-sheet Activity ID').Description

LookUp will give you the first item which matches the condition. Filter will give you one or more items which matches the condition.
