Dear support,

I am getting error while trying to use a Dataflow to import data in CDS from an Azure SQL DB:

{"error":{"code":"0x0","message":"An error occurred while validating input parameters: Microsoft.OData.ODataException: Cannot convert the literal '191.00' to the expected type 'Edm.Int32'. ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format

Any suggestion what it maybe happening?

Thank you in advance,

Jose G Diaz

Integers are whole numbers, no decimal positions. If you want 191.00 the destination field needs to be Currency or Decimal Number type.

Please mark as solution if this solves your problem.

    Thank you.

Thank you for the reply Sperry1625, the destination fields are decimal, actually all is being pre-populate from the dataflow creation (import in new DB) itself nothing changed.

The field you have highlighted above, Segment Distance, is defined as a Whole Number not a Decimal Number. Is that the field you are referring to? Is that the field that is generating the error? What is the source field defined as?

    Hello @josegdiazv

Change the Value '191.00' to '191' and try.

Because system expecting IntegerNumber(whole number) but the value which you are passing is Decimal
