Changing colors of columns in model driven app

Is there any way I can do this? Via a business rule or some way or is this Canvas App only?

    Would I be able to adjust the color of a particular field based upon the value within the field or is it only theming based. For example, have the values in a specific column be colored blue if the value is empty or null?
