Trying to create a "datatable" with Vertical Gallery

Hi,

 

I am trying  to create a data table with vertical gallery.

For two reasons, I can click into an item to submit a form and i can format the look better in a gallery.

 

I am trying to do this -

However I cannot extend my data past a certain

now I have 50+ columns to input still. I dont want to do it to find out I cant do what im trying to do.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @wonka1234,

    This is by design, that's why we have Gallery and DataTable😂

    A Gallery's width depends on the width of your current screen, if your current screen could accept 50+ fields in a single row, well, Gallery could achieve this as well.

     

    Currently, your current screen could not accept more than 50 columns in a single row, so I don't think format a vertical gallery as a DataTable is doable.

    @v-qiaqi-msft  lol but the data table formatting options are horrible! Ie no grids, no centering of texts

    is there ways to click into an item in a datatable?
