How to let others use your app with their sharepoint lists

Hi Guys, I created a power app under my personal team and created two sharepoiint lists that provide data/updates within my personal team. I want to be able to let other users use this app but with their own sharepoint lists. How do I get this package to them? What are the steps I need to follow to allow them to access the app and create the same sharepoint lists (without my data), so they can use this within their own personal team?

    Hi,

    You can simply export the package
    Set "Import Setup" of the app to "Create As New" and for the SP lists set it to "Select during Import". And when they are importing they should connect to their own SP list

    Note that the column names of their SP list should match yours if not there will be errors on the app

    @iKettle

    I suggest building you're app in a Solution container and manage Site and Lists by Environment Variable

    Use environment variables in solutions - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn

    When you will export the solution, you are removing all connections to your list/site and when a user imports this app Power App Maker will automatically ask them to point to right Site and Lists.

    Hi @SebS ,
    Yes your point is valid. But it might be a situation where they are both using the same environment.

    In that case, using a solution will just update the existing app and not create a copy for their use.

    Either way, if it is used on the same environment, export the app package but if it will be used in a different environment go ahead and add to a solution and then export the solution
