It sounds like a frustrating issue, especially after spending time building and testing the agent. Let's go through a few possibilities and recovery steps to try and find your missing agent in Copilot Studio:
Sometimes, if there’s a session timeout or issues with the browser cache, the agent may not appear immediately after a reload.
Even though you're in your personal environment, it’s always worth double-checking. You might have unintentionally switched to a different environment.
While Copilot Studio doesn't have a formal "soft delete" or recycle bin like SharePoint or Dataverse, some apps and services built within Power Platform might support recovery in certain circumstances. Here are a few things you can try:
You can also check if there's an audit log entry related to the agent to determine if it was deleted or moved.
Sometimes, there might be an issue that causes an agent to fail to load, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it's been deleted. There could be an error or notification related to the agent's state (e.g., deployment issues).
If you're working within an organizational environment, check with your admin to ensure that there weren’t any changes made (such as permissions or environment changes) that could have affected your agent.
If none of the above solutions work, and you believe the agent is missing due to a bug or unintended issue, contacting Microsoft Support would be the next step. They may be able to help recover the agent or investigate what happened to it.
