Dataverse/Powerapps unable to access "Available Business Central table"

I'm trying to create some Business Central virtual tables in my Dataverse production environment and not having much luck. Hopefully one of you has encountered this and corrected whatever the source of the problem was.

I've followed the steps in this document: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/powerplatform/powerplat-admin-reference to the end of the Authentication and authorization section. On step 3 of that section ("Locate and edit the table that you want to enable"), Powerapps studio emits an error.

Steps to repeat:

  • Navigate: Powerapps>Data>Tables>Available Business Central table
  • Then, select Data.

When I do, I receive this message

An error has occurred.

Something went wrong. Please try again.

The URL https://api.businesscentral.dynamics.com/v2.0/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/Production for Business Central is incorrect or not accessible.

(Where xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is my tenant ID)

When I use Advanced find to locate and show the table, I receive this error:

An error has occurred.

Try this action again. If the problem continues, check the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Community for solutions or contact your organization's Microsoft Dynamics 365 Administrator. Finally, you can contact Microsoft Support.
