"Field ID is Missing"

I am currently trying to build an app that will collect information and pictures in a Sharepoint list.

I have connected the Sharepoint list, and the written information is pulling through nicely.  I have set up the Camera control and linked it to the relevant area.
When i take photos, they appear on the correct screen, so I can see the photos have been linked to the right form. However, when i click on "Submit Form" I get the error message "Field ID is missing".

I have tried adding the ID data card into the form and have this generate a new ID each time the form is created, however this has not made any difference.

I watched this video to learn how to link the camera control photos to Sharepoint, but it seems to be missing a step around the submit/save section:

it seems as if your Form is in Edit mode and not Create/New mode, where it would automatically create the ID.

can you verify it and then change it to Create if its new.

if you have it in Edit mode, you have to make sure you have that somewhere in the data populating the Form or it won't know what list item to update

As per Michael suggestion check for the form mode, If its Edit change to New.

Then try to change the below settings.
    • From gallery which item is selected that item has to be provided to the form control Item Property (Gallery1.Selected) this will help to bring the properties in the form
      • New Form
        • NewForm(FormName); Navigate(ScreenName)
      • Edit Form
        • EditForm(FormName);Navigate(ScreenName)

If you already set the form mode as New then, instead of submitform try with Patch()

Take a look at these examples in the documentation.

You'll notice that all of them use either Defaults or a Lookup in the second position to identify the record to be patched Patch function (contains video) - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn.

If you are patching a record from a gallery you can also just refer to the selected property of the gallery.
