Display next choices based on Yes / No radio button

I'm building an app, right now there is a Yes / No radio button above a larger array of choices, also in radio button format. Some of the feedback from the higher ups is they want the second choices to be split up and hidden, and when the user clicks "Yes" only the relevant choices will appear, and when they click "No", the relevant choices to THAT selection appear.

For example: "Where you able to recreate the problem the customer is complaining about?" YES / NO.

Selecting YES would bring up choices under the label "What is the ultimate cause of the problem?" and then multiple options.

Selecting NO would bring up DIFFERENT choices under a different label, such as: "Why were you unable to recreate the problem?" and then multiple options.

I made a new column in my sharepoint, separated the choices into the two columns  (one for the cause of the problem, one for why the problem cant be recreated).

I thought about inserting two buttons that just brought the user to two different landing pages with the relevant choices, but I'm fairly certain my managers will not like that option.

Also, not sure if this matters but there are more choices / comment boxes below this section that's causing me issues.

Any thoughts? I found videos of similar things being done, but those were just different enough that they weren't able to help me out.

    Hi @bbal24,

You could split those large questions / choices into different smaller questions which are dependent on one another as you stated. The visibility of the next question would be dependent on the answer of the previous one.

In your example, questions regarding 'What is the ultimate cause of the problem' would have ToggleName.Value as their Visible property (change ToggleName to the actual name of the toggle control). These questions then only appear when the user selects 'Yes' .

Questions that should only appear when 'no' is selected, will have !ToggleName.Value as their Visible property.

Note: in case of a yes/no radio button, change toggleName.Value to RadioButtonName.Selected.Value = "Yes" and !toggleName.Value to RadioButtonName.Selected.Value = "No"

With this architecture in mind, you are able to create fluent questionnaires that are tailored to the previous answers of that user.

If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution.

    Thanks!

Yep, this is what I figured. I'll probably go with two separate landing pages because that's quicker, but if I get pushback I will rely on your solution. Thank you very much!
