Hello,

Model driven app is shared via "Security Roles" to users/groups, however I was wondering, if there is anyway to know the list of users/groups with whom Model driven apps is shared?

Any possibilities?

Thanks,

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @dave8,

Not directly via make.powerapps.com but if you know which security role(s) the apps are shared with then in https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/ go to Analytics --> Common Data Service --> Click the "Download" button on the top menu and select "Active users by security role" report. You can then filter the security roles to see which users are assigned those roles. Hope this helps!

    Hi@dave8,

Based on the issue that you mentioned, do you want to export a list of user names who the app is shared with?

Currently, it can't be achieved in PowerApps, here is a similar thread you can vote for.

As an alternative solution, you can try something new. There are PowerShell commands available for PowerApps now. You can use the following command to get a list of PowerApp app owners and users.

    Get-PowerAppRoleAssignment -AppName "AppID of PowerApp"

You can check the article for reference:https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/gdpr-admin-powershell-cmdlets/

    Hi @EricRegnier

Also, this doesn't show security roles assigned to user via CDS team - therefore this report will not be helpful too 😞

    Thanks,

    Hi@dave8,

Have you tried the PowerShell solution as the article I posted? Currently, this cannot be achieved within PowerApps, if you want to try within PowerShell, you can open a new case in another forum that related to PowerShell.

    Best Regards,

    Qi

Yep you're right @dave8, it's only for the user and doesn't give you the teams' view. There's also User Team Security Role report from the XrmToolBox that could help though: https://www.xrmtoolbox.com/plugins/Daggen.Xrm.UserTeamSecurityRoleReport/ Give that a try?
