Power Platform Community Forum Thread Details

Hi,

I've got a number of workstations around a warehouse that have a unique workstation ID, set via COMPUTERNAME environment variable.

I use a startup shortcut on each Windows workstation that runs a shortcut as follows;

ms-apps:///providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apps/<<applicationID>>?packStation=%COMPUTERNAME%

The app when launched through the desktop client doesn't consistently pass the parameter into the app. If I use the URL to access the app and pass the parameter it works perfectly.

Any help on getting the desktop client to work perfectly would be appreciated
