Portal Entity Form Label placement

Hi there

I have an Entity Form which is displayed in my Portal, but is shown with the labels on top of fields.

In the editor, the labels are on the left of the fields (as wanted).

How would I go about having the labels on the left in the browser?

I saw a recommendation on a thread to add this javascript (below), but this does not work and brings up a coding error.

I have two sections called "GENGEN" and "SPECSPEC"

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

that's weird.. a few things you can check:

    • is that an Entity Form or Web Form? - I tested my one in an Entity Form, showing a specific tab for my form instead of showing all tabs
    • have you tried the JS via browser console? just to see if works?
    • can you check the structure of your entity form to make sure it is being rendered this way:

    Thanks so much Oliver.

I agree that the Website CSS is prob the best way to go.
I did this, but for some reason the clear command doesn't seem to be working.

    See below:

This also happens when I have just one column.

I pasted the code into the home page Custom CSS from your linked site.
Any idea why the clear command isn't working?

    Hi

your JS code is correct, it's probably the " symbol that if may have copied the wrong character, also you should set that css for both sections.. so you should have two lines for clear = none and two lines for float = right

you can also achieve the same via CSS, if you want to apply for the entire portals I recommend doing it via CSS as it would perform a bit better

please take a look at the following: https://oliverrodrigues365.com/2020/08/09/power-apps-portals-field-label-position/
